{"id":6197,"date":"2021-07-13T18:21:17","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T09:21:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hyundaicorp.com\/en\/?page_id=6197"},"modified":"2021-07-16T10:00:20","modified_gmt":"2021-07-16T01:00:20","slug":"employee-code-of-conduct","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.hyundaicorp.com\/en\/ethics\/employee-code-of-conduct\/","title":{"rendered":"Employee Code of Conduct"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"action_guide\">\n<p class=\"txt_point\">Hyundai Corporation has enacted and is committed to implementing the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct for its employees by adopting reliability and transparency as its basic operating principles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"img_full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/img_ethics_new3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hyundai Corporation has enacted the Code of Ethics and established the \u201cEmployee Code of Conduct\u201d for its implementation.<br \/>This \u201cEmployee Code of Conduct\u201d is a guideline for the implementation of the \u201cCode of Ethics\u201d and stipulates the minimum level of ethical behavior for employees.<br \/>All employees must comply with this \u201cEmployee Code of Conduct\u201d as a guideline for their decision-making and behavior in performing all tasks.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"hr_black\" \/>\n<h5>1. Work Implementation<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2460 Employees shall make their best efforts to establish aggressive work goals and achieve goals, and take responsibility for the results.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2461 Employees shall do their best to collect information about the items in charge and market competitors and propose new ideas.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2462 Employees shall analyze the reasons for good or poor performance through regular performance checks and establish and implement countermeasures.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2463 Employees shall fulfill customer satisfaction through thorough customer management by converting customer information into a database.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2464 Employees shall increase work efficiency through active cooperation and communication between colleagues and related departments.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2465 Employees shall seek to improve the quality of their work by cultivating their abilities through continuous self-improvement.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>2. Credit Management<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2460 Employees shall prevent bad transactions through accurate work processing in accordance with procedures and take responsibility for the results in case of insolvency.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2461 Employees shall go through a preliminary review of all credit transactions by the business team.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2462 When a claim occurs, employees shall immediately report the exact details to their superiors and process them after receiving instructions.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2463 When a situation that contradicts the original contract terms arises, employees shall exclude independent judgment and consult with their superiors and related departments.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2464 Employees shall develop their ability to respond to insolvency by taking regular debt management training.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>3. Time Management<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2460 Employees shall strictly observe working hours and shall not tend to personal matters during working hours.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2461 Employees shall not play games, PC communication, or Internet access that are not related to work during working hours.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2462 Employees shall not engage in their second job that may interfere with the company&#8217;s business.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2463 Employees shall get prior approval for such involvements as attending external lectures from the HR Department even if it helps the company&#8217;s work or serves to enhance the company image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>4. Cost Management<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2460 Employees shall be careful in using all company equipment and consumables as if they have paid for them.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2461 Employees shall refrain from using telephones and mobile phones for personal purposes.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2462 Employees shall reduce overseas travel expenses, gift expenses, and entertainment expenses as much as possible, and refrain from eating out to promote unity among employees.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2463 Employees shall use company assets for company duties and handle the spending in a transparent manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>5. Business Relationship<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2460 Employees shall not receive excessive entertainment or favors (more than 100,000 won per person, unpaid golf play, etc.) from business partners in relation to their duties.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2461 Employees shall not enjoy conveniences involved in monetary loans, collateral, loan guarantees, and building rentals from companies with whom they have business relationships, and shall not engage in investment, borrowing, or employment relationships with companies.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2462 Employees shall not do business with relatives or business partners with whom they are personally acquainted.\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2463 Employees shall not provide indiscriminate congratulations and condolences to companies with business relationships.<\/li>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u2464 Employees shall not provide gifts, money, valuables, entertainment, entertainment, etc., to stakeholders related to the company&#8217;s business beyond the level recognized by social norms, and shall not purchase goods and services of stakeholders at an amount higher than is considered acceptable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>6.
