Dubai is located in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), a federation of seven
independent states. The U.A.E. is a nation blessed with abundant natural resources.
It is the world’s third largest oil producer and possesses the fourth largest natural
gas reserves. The seven emirates retain internal autonomy over political, economic and
financial affairs. Dubai stands out from all the cities in the U.A.E. as the center of trade,
investment and finance not only in the Middle East but also in Africa backed by the
government’s complete support in policy. The free trade port of Jebel Ali area is the
center of distribution of goods to the whole Middle East.
Duly considering the government’s policy directions and its geographical characteristics,
the Dubai Office is performing the role of a trading foothold in the Middle East and Africa
including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen and Iraq.
The Dubai Office hopes to serve the role of bridge connecting the markets of the Middle
East and Africa. To this end, our business areas include a wide array of products ranging
from ordinary products such as paper to large-scale projects and energy sources such as oil
and gas. Even now, we are redoubling our efforts to expand our range of products with the
collaboration of Korean businesses interested in the region.

2. Domestic appliances: TV, refrigerators, air conditioners, LCD, PDP and small sized home
appliances
3. Chemical products: Plastic resin, rubber, PVC and other chemical products
4. Ordinary products: Paper, batteries, tires and other general products
5. Heavy machinery: Cranes, dump trucks, tractors, transporters
6. Machinery: Press, circuit breaker, pumps, ship engine
7. Plant: Power plants, desulfurization system, desalination plants, petrochemical plants,
off-shore sub-structures
8. Resource development: LNG, oil & gas, coal and mineral resources, nonferrous metal
