Established in 1980, Hyundai Corporation Kuala Lumpur Office has played a key role
on behalf of numerous small-to-medium-sized Korea enterprises in Korea as well as Hyundai
Group Companies in boosting international trade between Malaysia and Korea and greatly
contributed to the development of the economies of both countries.
We have gained business reputation in Malaysia by successful completion of numerous
SOC projects and construction of various industrial plants which include roads, bridges,
harbor jetty, power station, petrochemical plant and cement plant and also by supplying
heavy industries items such as large commercial ships, transformers and heavy equipments.
In addition, in early 1990's, we established three car equipments manufacturing companies
in collaboration with Malaysian local partners and have been successfully operating them.
Succeeding accumulated business know-how and expertise, we are now extending our business to the
fields of large commercial vessel, military ship, armoured personnel carrier, transformer, rolling
stocks, commercial vehicle, various engines, machine tool, steel products and pipes and also enlarging
trade volume of IT business in Malaysia and neighboring Asian countries which is emerging as one of
our new strategic business.
We are also sourcing competitive industrial raw materials such as palm oil and wood chip from
Malaysia and trying to export them to Korea and other countries.
Located strategically and having abundant natural resources and stable political and social environment,
