After establishing diplomatic relations with Korea in 1949, the Philippines entered the Korean War as a staunch ally in 1950. Recent notable trend between the two countries is the growing inflow of immigrants and tourists to the Philippines from Korea.
The Philippines lies just four hours away by flight from Korea. Because of this geographical proximity, it is considered as the gate and bridgehead to the ASEAN market.
Since its establishment in 1979, Hyundai Corporation’s Manila Office has been deeply involved in the nation’s major infrastructure projects including the light rail transit project (LRTA LINE #1, LINE #2), TRANSCO business, major power plant constructions, as well as steel, automobiles, chemicals and a wide variety of product lines.
Of recent, we are expanding our area of business from selling products made in Korea into exporting products made in the Philippines to a third country and actively engaging in intermediary trade by tapping into our extensive network.

Ang Pilipinas, binubuo ng tatlong malalaking isla – Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao,
