agriculture, a continuing robust performance in services; per capita income in dollar
term crossing $ 600 mark; investment upturn gaining a stronger footing and sharp
increases in the consumption of various components of energy, reflecting rising levels
of economic activity. This year has also seen further reduction in public and external
debt burden.
