Q1. Please introduce yourself
A1. I am Mammedov Rahym from Turkmenistan. I have been working at Hyundai Corporation for over a year and a half.
Q2. How did you come to join Hyundai Corporation?
A2. While majoring in Korean Studies at a university in Turkmenistan, I became involved in Korea. I became more interested in Korea through interpreting and translation work at public and private events and in business meetings. This led me to pursue my post degrees at a university in Korea. During my studies in Korea, I had the opportunity to participate in Company’s project in Turkmenistan. This experience motivated me to join Hyundai Corporation.
Q3. What aspects of working at our company are you satisfied with?
A3. The greatest satisfaction for me comes from working in an environment where I can collaborate with senior colleagues and peers, and where my opinions and abilities are respected. I also find it very rewarding that the projects I lead within the team are making a positive impact in various parts of the world.

Q4. How has being a foreigner helped you in your work at the company, and how have you made use of this?
A4. I am currently in charge of the CIS area, and as I am familiar with the local culture and language, I am very helpful in promoting my business. Especially when I collaborate with partners in various countries, I naturally act as a bridge for communication and contribute to building trust.
Q5. Do you have any advice or words you would like to share with international students who are preparing to find a job?
A5. Clearly understand your own strengths and weaknesses, and make the most of cultural diversity as an advantage. In global companies like Hyundai Corporation that operate in markets around the world, having an international background can actually become a powerful asset.
