1. 1. What is included in main business?

My main duties at Team SP2 of Steel Division are trading automotive steel plates and Cold-rolled steel sheets & Galvannealed steel sheets. I purchase CR & GA from our main supplier POSCO, and sell those items to automotive companies and auto-parts companies. Also, I’m contributing to developing my team’s role of trading steel products through triangle transaction in South-Eastern market.

2. What do you think will be definitely necessary conditions and capability for the purpose of performing business?

Above all, the most important things are ‘responsibility’ and ‘will to do’. We, working for trading company, are like an entrepreneur who takes responsibility and runs our own business. So, you can find answer for any question and make accomplishment if you have sense of ownership and strong will for your work. Other than these factors, it is very helpful to keep positive thinking in stressful circumstances because we need to adapt to frequent changes and communicate with many people

3. If you have a great pride of your company, what will be?

It is remarkable strength that Hyundai Corporation is always developing and challenging various new business. One example is the recent establishment of CVC for supporting new tech business and leaping into an investment company. New employee also has a lot of opportunities to realize their own ideas through ‘HI LAB(Hyundai Innovation Lab)’ to do research on new business. Especially, compared to other trading companies, HYUNDAI’s global network is broad and strong enough for expanding our business abroad.

4. If you have any available tips for your juniors wishing to join the company, what will be?

I hope you focus on your strong points. And, never give up. As you are seeking a job, there are moments when you feel like you have to present a standardized and undifferentiated answers. Don’t be deceived by such feelings, but specialize in your strengths through trivial experiences with people around you.
